Sometimes I'll just be playing Roblox and it never lags or anything before it crashes, it's just out of the blue my pc is strong enough to run Roblox with max graphics. It never lags or anything before it crashes, it's just happening out of the blue. I really don't have anything else to say. Though I didn't download it from Microsoft app store, only running it from Opera GX

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

It sounds like you're encountering sudden crashes while playing Roblox, despite having a PC that's more than capable of handling the game, especially since you're not experiencing any lag or performance issues beforehand. The fact that you're running it through Opera GX, rather than downloading it from the Microsoft App Store, is an interesting detail.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve this issue:

    1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause games to crash unexpectedly.
    2. Clear Browser Cache: Since you're running Roblox through Opera GX, try clearing the browser's cache. A cluttered cache can lead to performance issues and crashes. Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix page display problems. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.
    3. Check for Browser Updates: Make sure Opera GX is updated to the latest version. Browser updates often include performance improvements and issue fixes.
    4. Disable Browser Extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with game performance. Try disabling them to see if the crashes stop.
    5. Roblox Settings: Even though your PC can handle max graphics, try lowering the graphics settings in Roblox. This can help identify if the crashes are related to specific graphical features.
    6. Check for Overheating: Monitor your PC's temperature while playing. Overheating can cause crashes, even if the game isn't lagging beforehand.
    7. Reinstall Roblox: Consider uninstalling Roblox and then reinstalling it directly from the Roblox website, instead of running it through the browser.
    8. Check for System Updates: Ensure your operating system is up to date. Like with browsers and drivers, system updates can fix issues that may cause games to crash.
    9. Opera GX's Gaming Features: Opera GX has features aimed at gamers, like RAM and CPU limiters. Adjust these settings to see if they have an impact on Roblox's performance.

If after trying these steps you're still experiencing crashes, it might be worth exploring forums or the Roblox support page for more specific advice or to contact them to see if others have had similar issues. Sometimes, game-specific problems have game-specific solutions.
