Windows 10 has "outlook for windows" email app. You may need someone physically to help you.

In the meantime, you can login to your email accounts using your browser.

Windows Live Mail was discontinued 10 years ago. You should have moved to another email program 10 years ago --- when there are people still remembered how to do it. Now 10 years have passed and very few people remember how to use these old programs to help you.

I think it may be a problem with Comcast

    Hi,

It is definitely a problem with Comcast. WLM as of now, appears to be working fine.

Did you raise a ticket at Comcast?

I am desperate for help. I think it may be a problem with Comcast. But I have talked with them and made sure all the setting were correct. I guess. My computer is a Dell, purchased in 2020. I can find no paperwork on it. I think it backs up automatically, but I do not know.

So- I still have Windows Live Mail. And the information and list of contacts would be a major major amount of work to transfer anywhere. This is the error message when I attempt to send an email. Email provider is Comcast - X Finity

    Hi Roberta,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

You should have switched from WLM long ago as it is not supported. Who is your Email provider?

Did you try to send using web mail?

I look forward to your reply.
