    Hi Christine,

I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the "Memory Integrity Off" warning in Windows 11.

The reason you are receiving this pop-up warning is that Windows 11 turns off memory integrity by default, but you can manually turn it on to improve the security of your system.

Memory integrity is a protection mechanism that prevents malware and attackers from modifying and tampering with the operating system memory. Turning this feature on adds an extra layer of protection to your device, thereby reducing the risk of attack.

Below are the steps to turn on this feature:

Please open Windows 11 "Settings", go to "Privacy and Security" in the lower left corner, select "Open Windows Security Center", and then go to "Privacy and Security". , then go to "Device Security", click on "Kernel Isolation Details" on the right, and finally "Turn on "Memory Integrity". After completing this step, the warning you received should be gone.

I hope the above information is useful to you, please feel free to contact me if there is anything you are not sure about or need help with.

    Best Regards,

Ian - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    Thank you, Ian,

That was helpful but it takes me to an error saying I have incompatible drivers.

I have tried using windows update but it didn't find any.

I also use AVG driver Updater.

Is it safe to just leave it off until a new update fixes things?

I am a rookie with Win 11 after just upgrading after a long wait.

    Christine

I have the same issue, went into device manager and had ticked 'show hidden devices' under the 'view' tab but the drivers listed in windows security as incompatible are not listed in device manager. They are nowhere to be found.

This suddenly appeared on my system this morning after an apparent automatic update.

Incidentally, there were other new graphics issues this morning which cleared up after I rebooted my computer.

Windows Security says there are actions recommended. On the Windows Security home screen, under Device Security it says "Memory Integrity is off. Your device may be vulnerable." There is a button labeled "Go to settings" which I clicked. It takes me to the Core Isolation screen, where there is a yellow "!" triangle and a message saying "Memory Integrity is off. Your device may be vulnerable." There is a toggle, currently Off. I turned it on. At the "Do you want this app to make changes" prompt, I said Yes. It now says "Resolve any driver incompatibilities, and try again." There is a Scan Again button which I clicked. I get a notification telling me "Memory Integrity can't be turned on. Try resolving any incompatibilities with your drivers." Back on the Core Isolation screen, there is a blue clickable link "Review incompatible drivers." I clicked on that link, and it takes me to a screen titled "Review incompatible drivers." But there are no incompatible drivers shown on that page to be reviewed.

So I am at a dead end. Microsoft needs to fix this problem! Meanwhile, what should I do?
