Thanks for your help. I just restarted my PC multiple times each time it just takes me to the same place, the lock screen. I don't know how to access the firmware settings.
How to get back into my laptop
Hi. I'm currently on windows 11, I'm not sure what happened but I can no longer log into my laptop it says (Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. Click to set up your pin again.) I've tried multiple times to set up a new pin and it just says Something went wrong. we weren't able to set up your pin try again. I have no way to get into my settings and tried restarting multiple times. At a loss not really sure what to do. Thanks

On the Lock Screen, Press and hold the Shift key. Then, click the restart button on the lock screen located at the bottom right situated in the Power menu, to open the Windows Recovery options.

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
We can try clearing TPM, which stores hashes for the PIN, hoping it works.
Please open the Windows Recovery environment using either of the steps below:
On the Lock Screen, Press and hold the Shift key. Then, click the restart button on the lock screen located at the bottom right situated in the Power menu, to open the Windows Recovery options.
If you cannot reach the Lock screen or start your computer, restart your PC two times when the boot screen is shown. If your PC has no restart button, press and hold the Power button until the computer shuts down. Do this twice.
Select UEFI Firmware Settings.
Choose Security>Look for Intel PTT/Security chip option in the firmware Settings.
Clear the same and save the changes.
Good luck!
