how can i put my screen on black and white mode

d like to have the option, to switch on and off the very colour displaying on my screen. id like to be able to see black and white whenever i feel it is useful. thanks.

    From your description of the problem, I'm guessing that maybe you're looking for a way to try to turn on high contrast mode?

    In Windows 11, click Start menu-- Settings -- Accessibility --Contrast themes, select the mode you want to start, and click Apply to enter the high contrast mode:

    The shortcut key for this mode is Left Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen
