Windows 11 PC won't recognize my iPhone 15 connected to my computer

Hello all, I just recently got a new Windows 11 PC (this specifically was working on my old laptop) and I was trying to back up my iPhone with iTunes but my phone isn't getting recognized by my computer at all. I've tried 3 different cables and a couple of different USB ports but I've still had the same luck and I won't get the "trust this computer" screen. I have an iPhone 15, and I've only tried a USB to USB-C cable as my PC doesn't have a USB-C port. Is there any possible fix for this?

Thank you.

Believe me, I have never left a positive review of iTunes/Apple on any of Apple's sites.

Every song I have uploaded to iTunes has been deleted when there's an update. My playlists also get deleted or the music gets rearranged from one playlist to another.

Since it's been four years, 3 laptops and 3 iPhones, Microsoft should be attempting a fix for this on their operating system for their users.

Is your iPhone recognized on Device Manager?

1-Right-click on Start then click on Device Manager

2-Connect your iPhone to your computer

3-Check if it is recognized under "Portable devices"

4-If is recognized, right-click on that and click on properties. Then check in the "Device Status" to see if there is any error code

5-If is recognized and doesn't have any error code, right-click on that and select "Update driver" then click to update the driver using the Windows Update

If the problem persists, here are other troubleshooting that you can try to fix this problem.

Solution 1: Reset the trusted devices on your iPhone

1-Go to Settings, then tap General.

    2-Tap Transfer or Reset [Device].

3-Tap Reset, then tap Reset Location & Privacy.

4-Disconnect and reconnect your iPhone and check if the "Trust device" message is shown

Solution 2: If you have any third-party antivirus temporarily and then reconnect your iPhone

Solution 3: Check if you have the latest version of iTunes

    1-Open iTunes

2- Go to Choose Help > Check for Updates

Solution 4: If you have installed iTunes through Microsoft Store, you can use this procedure to update

    1-Open the Microsoft Store

    2-Click on Library

3-Click on "Get Updates" then click on "Install updates"

Solution 5: Restart your iPhone and then reconnect it to your computer. You can see how to do it at this link.

Solution 6: Check if there are any pending updates to your iPhone. You can see how to do it at this link.

The outdated version of Bios could be the cause of the problem. There is a new version of Bios (1641) on the Asus website to "Improve system compatibility and performance" released on 2024/02/23. Downloading and installing the latest version of Bios from this link should fix this problem.

Then you can use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant from this link to make sure you are using the latest version of the Chipset driver.

    Hi, Shravan,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Usually, this problem is caused by an outdated or corrupted driver. Please provide some more details to help identify what is causing this problem. Are you using a laptop or a desktop? Which is the full model of your computer/laptop or motherboard?

Also, attach a screenshot of the System Information Page:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: msinfo32 and click on Ok

You can see at this link how to include a screenshot in your post.
