Xbox app on my pc will not work right.

I have used sfc and found no issues, done an in place upgrade of windows 11 to try and fix the issue, unplugged all usb devices and various other wierd things. used the gaming repair tool, manually uninstalled and reinstalled everything i could think of to fix this issue and it is the ONLY issue i am having. When I download the xbox app it is only 300kb and when i open it it imediatly goes into update mode, makes it to 100 percent then hits me with the following error " try the update again error code 0x800070426"

The game repair tool fails on repairing game services "completed with failure (0x8000ffff)"

I am at a loss. there is an assinine amount of custom configured editing software on this pc that i use in tandem with the games. it will take a week or more to get it reconfigured if i have to do a fresh install.

Sorry for grammar, I have been at this for 9 hours on my only day off this week and frankly, i dont care.

    doing this will remove all third party software such as those in program files correct?

    I have tried with and without Nord VPN running. Also no third party antivirus.

    Tried and no change sadly. I have also discovered that clicking on the green install button on a game directly from the Microsoft store greys the button out for about and minute and then makes it green again with no install prompt or popup window. And as a bonus when I attempt to update "gaming services" inside of the microsoft store it just hangs on "installing..."

    Thank you for replying. I tried this prior as well and it did not work. I tried it again and while I ran into no errors during the process it did not resolve anything.
