Hello, I've been having this problem for about a few months now and I thought why not ask about it to see if there was a fix. So almost every time I open a specific game called Fivem it crashes and I get a "nvgpucomp64.dll+(Numbers)" error (It could be multiple nvgpucomp64,dll errors each having a +"all different numbers"). Sometimes even when I try to start up fivem my pc blue screens and restarts and I get errors like "System thread exception not handled" or "IQRL not less or equal" it evens puts my msi afterburner tool which is a gpu overclocking software it sets my gpu to extremely low mhz like its in safemode. I've tried multiple ways to fix the problem from commands in the command prompt or windows memory diagnoses from factory resetting my pc using and using DDU for my graphics driver and many other things and nothing seems to work.

My pc specs are a:

Intel core i9-14900K

Geforce Gtx 1660

32GB corsair vengeance ram

Msi z690 edge wifi ddr4 motherboard

windows 11

It would greatly appreciated if someone could reach back out and try to help me fix the problem, thank you.

I've fixed the problem I had to go into my pc bios and enable my dynamic thermal tuning option and disable adaptive boost technology settings and change the performance core ratio for the cpu. After that I haven't got a nvgpucomp64.dll crash or a blue screen sense. Thank you anyways!

It's been a couple of months now, but If you still have the problem, check for an update for your Bios.

Intel 13th & 14th had micro-code problem, I won't get into detail cause I don't really understand everything, but I had a I7 13700kf and experienced huge crash (most of the time error c0x000005 Access Violation) on almost every game. It appears that 13th and 14th had issues, and the recent bios update, in my case August 1st, solved the problem

Before that I had to downgrad my CPU in the bios, disabling Intel turbo and something called CPU lite to put Intel Recommendation to fixed my crash but by having less performance

Since the Bios update, it's completely fixed it, I can now use my CPU how it should be

    Hello Aiden!

I have searched endlessly for a solution to this specific irritated problem and I'm eager to try this as well since your issue is a lot alike as mine.

Where excatly did you found these settings and by saying "Change the performance core ratio for the cpu", what excatly did you change?

    Thank you in advance!

    Br,

    Tom

The information you provided indicates that the Nvidia graphics driver is causing the crash.

This could be caused by a faulty graphics card or a corrupted driver, I would recommend uninstalling the graphics driver and then performing a system repair. Open PowerShell as administrator and enter the following command:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    sfc /scannow

Then download the latest version of the driver from the device manufacturer's website and reinstall it.

    Hello, I'm here to help.

I may need you to provide the dump file to help you analyze the failure. Please see if there is a. DMP file in your system directory "C:\Windows\Minidump". If there is, please upload it to a cloud drive such as OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive and share the link here, I will help you analyze it.

Disclaimer: The dump file may contain some information about you, such as system environment, software used, etc. This is a public community and can be viewed by anyone, so please remove the share as soon as possible after I answer. Please do not provide the file named "MEORY.DMP", which contains almost all information about your system at runtime.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reply. This is not a live chat channel and replies may be delayed, I will respond within minutes to hours.
