Unfortunately the troubleshooting no longer works for me, it was when it first started & now it doesn't. My printer continues to say online & connected. This started right after my laptop updated to Windows 11 which seems to be the common denominator on the issue after reading so many others posts. My IT guy at work said its absolutely a windows 11 issue & microsoft needs to create the fix for it.
Printer keeps going "offline" Windows 11
My printer has worked fine until a month or two. Since then it keeps going offline. I have updated software drivers etc. I need to poke around with troubleshooters etc every time to get it to work. It's then fine for that session but the problem comes back every time i turn it off. Is there any solution to this?

2024-04-18T18:12:44+00:00 Same problem here...won't work for Lenovo laptop or mac's....ever since the windows 11 update. There really needs to be a fix for this ASAP. Its extremely frustrating, the only way I can get mine to print or scan anything, is plugging it into my laptop. This is a major inconvenience.

2024-04-22T22:18:05+00:00 It was working fine with windows 11 until recently. I did figure out that restarting the print spooler in the services made it work.

2024-03-28T04:13:04+00:00 The Norton 360 Firewall post above reminded me that I just installed Avast Antivirus free version recently - I couldn't see an option to add IP address of a trusted device in the free version so I uninstalled Avast and HP Smart started once again reliably reporting my HP Envy online and I am printing again without issue. Thank You!!
