It's almost like M$ are sabotaging the use of PS controllers, huh?? Been wrestling with this all day - it's MS's fault - crappy bluetooth software or deliberate sabotage. Either way, really poor.

2024-03-04T04:16:00+00:00 I also have the same problem and none of the solutions you have offered above have worked at all. I have a TUF Gaming B650 motherboard and the highest end AMD parts money can buy. I have attempted to:
- Delete the bluetooth drivers and allow windows to reinstall them
- Download bluetooth drivers directly from the ASUS website
- Restart the Bluetooth service
- Check for windows updates (I do not have any pending or needed)
- Restarted the controller itself then repeated steps 1 and 2
None of these solutions worked to get this controller to connect to my PC at all. When connecting the device manually using a USB it works find and displays properly but when trying to add it as a device in the bluetooth menu I am completely unable to do so. This process is exceedingly frustrating and I feel intentionally so.

Please try the following steps and see if that helps
- Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter
Select Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Next to Bluetooth, select Run and follow the instructions.
- Restart the Bluetooth Service
Open Services (search for "Services" in the Start menu).
Locate the "Bluetooth Support Service," right-click on it, and select "Restart."
- Update the Windows
Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and then select Check for updates.
If the issue persists, please try to install the Bluetooth latest driver from the computer manufacturer website.
Regards,
Gopal

2024-01-17T08:42:57+00:00 Hello there, I'm Gopal an Independent Advisor. I will try my best to help you.
I understand that your PS4 controller won't connect to your PC even though your Bluetooth works with other devices. Did you see any error messages while trying to connect the controller? Have you tried connecting the controller using a USB cable instead of Bluetooth?
Please try to reset the controller and connect it again
On the back of the controller, you'll find a small hole near the L2 button. Press and hold the reset button for a few seconds. Then try connecting the controller to your PC again.
If the issue persists, reinstall the Bluetooth driver
Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
Type "devmgmt.msc" and press Enter to open the Device Manager.
In the Device Manager window, expand the "Bluetooth" category.
Right-click on the Bluetooth driver and select "Uninstall device".
If prompted, select the option to delete the driver software for the device.
Restart your PC. After restarting your PC, Windows will automatically attempt to reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
I hope this will help you to sort out the issue. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you!
Regards
Gopal
