I've tried shutting down my computer, but it still sounds hollow...I don't know if it's something that happened when I accidentally opened MaxxAudio Pro or anything, but I still can't fix the sound...everything I play or watch sounds like a room that echoes when someone talks...I can't get that sound away...what do I do?

    Hi, Mariana,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Please provide some more details to help identify what is causing this problem. Are you using a laptop or a desktop? Which is the full model of your computer/laptop or motherboard?

Also, attach a screenshot of the System Information Page:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: msinfo32 and click on Ok

And a screenshot of the version of the driver installed:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Device Manager

2-Click to expand the "Sound, video and game controllers"

3-Right-click on the audio driver and click on properties

4-Take a screenshot of the General and Driver tab

You can see at this link how to include a screenshot in your post.

    Hi,

It's probably something related to drivers. Try going in Device Manager, search under Sound, video and games controllers; there should be something similar to "Realtek High Definition Audio". Right-click on it and then click on "Update drivers". First try the automatic search and if it says "The latest drivers are installed" then try going again on "Update drivers" and try the second option "Search in this computer" (or something similar depending on the version of your Windows). It should give you some files with a long name and a date at the end, choose the most recent one and double click it. It should install it. Then restart your PC.
