I guess that would be the built in Windows mail app. I just heard it referred to as Windows Live Mail. I'm just an old guy who doesn't know that much about computers.
Windows Mail fix?
After a recent Windows Update my Windows Live Mail won't let me access my contacts list. I know others have had this problem too from reading feedback comments. If I unistall the update the list comes back but since it was part of a security update my computer keeps notifying me that I need to reinstall the update. Microsoft has been trying to get us to switch to Outlook but a lot of us don't want to and it eems this was done deliberately to make us switch. Does anyone know how to get the contacts list back? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

2024-04-10T21:25:29+00:00 - stop telling people you are using windows live mail when you were already corrected in a previous thread that you are using windows 10's windows mail.
- stop using windows 10's windows mail as Microsoft is going to discontinue it
- go and find yourself another email client that has continued development and support and use that instead --- if you don't like the new "outlook for windows" replacement.

2024-04-10T21:05:56+00:00 If you mean Windows Live Mail client then that is not supported in Windows 10 so I'm not surprised it causes problems.
Or do you mean the built in windows mail app.?
