Thank you for letting me know. I'm glad I could assist you, Ayushmaan!

In terms of raw performance, the RTX 3050 outperforms the GTX 1650, especially in a desktop setup. It offers newer technologies like ray tracing and DLSS, which enhance gaming experiences. For your 1080p gaming needs, the RTX 3050 will provide smoother gameplay and better future-proofing.

Given your budget, you should be able to find a desktop PC with an RTX 3050 that meets your requirements. Remember to balance the GPU with a good CPU, sufficient RAM, and an SSD for the best overall performance.

I hope this information helps. Should you need further information please let me know.

Thank you for providing more details about your needs and budget.

The Nvidia RTX 3050 would be a better choice for your laptop as it offers newer technology, better performance, and features like ray tracing and DLSS which can enhance gaming visuals. It’s also more future-proof, meaning it will likely support new games and features that come out in the next few years.

Besides the graphics card, ensure the laptop has at least an Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor, 8GB of RAM (preferably 16GB), and an SSD for faster load times and overall system responsiveness.

With a budget of $750, you might need to balance between the cost of the graphics card and other components. The RTX 3050 is generally more expensive than the GTX 1650, but there are laptops available that include the RTX 3050 within your budget range.

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

    1. I am a student so I need an Entry level pc that can run games at playable FPS.
    2. Games like Black Mesa, Minecraft, Gta 5 can run smoothly.
    3. I want to play games at 1920x1080 resolution.
    4. I have a budget of 750 USD.

The main reason for asking this question is because I have a tight budget and I wanted a pc for studies and some gaming.

Hi Aayushmaan, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand you’re trying to compare the RTX 3050 in a laptop with the GTX 1650 in a desktop PC, and both have 4 GB of DDR6 memory. Choosing between the RTX 3050 and the GTX 1650 depends on several factors. The RTX 3050, being a newer model, generally offers better performance and features such as ray tracing and DLSS, which are not available on the GTX 1650. However, the GTX 1650 might still be a good choice if you’re on a tighter budget or if you’re using a desktop PC with a robust cooling system that can accommodate more powerful GPUs.

To give you a more precise answer, you can provide more details on:

    > Your specific use cases (e.g., gaming, professional work, etc.)

    > The types of games or applications you plan to run

    > Your performance expectations (e.g., frame rates, resolution)

    > Any budget constraints you might have

    John J.D.
