If not, what does it show? Please send a screenshot.

2024-04-22T12:02:21+00:00 Steam does not make desktop shortcuts from the games main .exe file in the 'traditional' way. They create a desktop 'Web Document'.
Steam was first to do this, but other online retailers are also using 'Web Document' aka URL shortcuts these days.
The URL shortcuts can be a problem with some games. Particularly with games that have both a 'launcher' .exe and 'regular' .exe
if the URL shortcut does not load the 'launcher'.exe that needs to be used to setup the main graphics settings.
When this happens you just need to make a shortcut from the .exe file you want to use (FalloutLauncher.exe)
from the games install folder.
- I've always made 'proper' shortcuts to make it easier to access the Compatibility tab, but with EPIC, I've also found that
(less so these days) if you make a shortcut from the games main .exe the game will load without having to open the
EPIC client software. Handy for single player games.
btw - You shouldn't need to use Compatibility with Vista sp1 any more. Particularly with a copy from Steam.
I have the original disc based version (not linked to Steam) and no longer need Vista sp1 Compatibility.

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.
The compatibility mode was not removed on Windows 11.
Check the game .exe properties on the Steam folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common) and not on the desktop shortcut.
