i downloaded windows 11 and now i cant use winrar can anyone help me please??

so i tried downloading a file i need for my computer and it wont let use it saying its a compressed file even tho i tried to uncompress it it still wont let me i just want to use winrar but it wont let me for some unkown reason please help me.

    i already fixed the problem i just needed to set the downloads to winrar

    Did you try reinstalling WinRAR, using the latest version?

    If, for some reason, that doesn't work, two good, free alternatives are BandiZip and 7-Zip.

    Were you trying to use WinRAR from Windows Explorer's incomplete version, or from the latest official WinRAR version 7.00 download at C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe?

    So do try again using the full version that is freely available from https://win-rar.com, instead of Windows incomplete version!

    its not just winrar it doesnt work with any i tried 7zip too it just wont work it says i have it installed but i dont

    this happened when i migrated from windows 10 to windows 11
