WHY won't Windows 10 recognise my Cambridge DAC 100 USB device?

WHY won't Windows 10 recognise my Cambridge DAC 100 USB device? I have tried many drivers but my device does not even prompt windows to recognise the device or use the drivers that I have already downloaded and installed specifically for that purpose. I have recently switched back, probably temporarily, from Apple, and I've never had issues with any IOS.

    Hello, Michael Pascoe2.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I have some ideas.

    I searched online.

I noticed that your device seems to require specialized driver support.

I'm not sure if the driver you downloaded and installed is the one provided by Cambridge.

Have you tried using the drivers provided by Cambridge?

Cambridge even offers drivers for USB2.0.

Please try downloading and installing the drivers first.
