I just upgraded 11 from home to pro. Want to know how much is the overhead for added pro features? Will battery life and performance be identical?

Hello. I am the original poster. Can you elaborate a bit how did you test the two OS and how windows home was better. I personally am using the pro but I've been facing all sorts of bugs

I noticed a huge performance difference between Windows 11 Home and Pro. Windows 11 Home runs better. Photoshop runs smoothly. And Multitasking is a breeze on Windows 11 Home... I don't know how you guys at Microsoft didn't notice that.

    Hello, this is Emily.

The performance and battery life differences between Windows 11 Home and Pro are hardly different. The added features in Windows 11 Pro, such as BitLocker encryption, Remote Desktop, and Hyper-V virtualization, do not significantly impact system performance or battery life. However, it's worth noting that enabling certain features, such as Remote Desktop, may consume additional system resources when in use. Overall, you should not experience any significant differences in performance or battery life after upgrading from Windows 11 Home to Pro.
