So I have a pair of Monster Wireless earbuds I got off of Amazon for my laptop. They work fine on mobile but on my laptop, they have a weird audio delay. I've tried editing settings and uninstalling ai noise cancelation from Asus to see if it was the problem but no luck. Note: these are my first pair of wireless headphones for my laptop. Also they are in sync right when I pair them then they go mute for a second. And once the audio is back, it's delayed

    Hello, SethToth.

    Thanks for your reply.

This is the download link I found, please download, install, and test it.

Please try these two, and also, when testing, delay the Windows update to prevent the Windows update from changing the drivers.

    Hello, SethToth.

    Thanks for your reply.

For laptops, please check the label on the body, which usually carries the model information.

    Or use the dxdiag command.

    (System Model)

Win+Q to open Windows search -> type "dxdiag" and run -> share the information

Also, I saw the Realtek array you mentioned.

Please try the following after connecting the Bluetooth headset.

Open Windows Settings -> System -> Sound -> More sound settings -> In the window that opens, disable Realtek Mix (playback and recording) and only use the computer's built-in devices and your Bluetooth headset -> then perform a test.

(If the sound comes out of the laptop instead of the headphones after disabling, please set the headphones as the default device and the default communication device.)

If there are any updates, please feel free to reply.

    Best regards.

All I know is that the Bluetooth for my earbuds is 5.0. I don't have any apps that are different that are on my phone compared to my PC. I also noticed if I switch my main mic input from realtek array, the audio is in sync. But that's only with video calls. I checked to see if my driver's need updated, but they're already up to date. I don't have another computer to try them on since I'm the only person in the house with a Windows laptop. Also, can you tell me how to find my configuration so I can send it?

    Hello, SethToth.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I have some ideas.

When playing music on the computer, the music has already finished but there is a delay of 1 second before it stops.

    Is it like this?

The latency issue with Bluetooth headphones may be caused by Bluetooth itself.

It could also be due to the connection to two devices at the same time.

Additionally, do you have any relevant apps downloaded on your phone?

Low latency technology for Bluetooth headphones requires support from both connected devices.

Could you share your computer's configuration information?

Also, the brand and model of the network card your computer is using.

Have you also tested other computers?

Test results can help determine whether the issue lies with the laptop or with Bluetooth itself.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

If I've misunderstood, please correct me.

If there are any updates, please feel free to reply.

    Best regards.
