Can VGA support 1080p resolution over 100hz.

I have a PC which has only one VGA port and I am planning to buy a monitor for it so I am confused whether if I buy a 100hz FHD monitor will my windows PC would be able to utilise it over its maximum capacity or not

    Bro I'm using a VGA cable but my PC doesn't go to 144 hz what am I doing?

    VGA communicates with analog signals, so there is no explicit limit on the refresh rate.

    It supports a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536, so it supports 1080p 100hz.
