Hi there, my computer with windows 11 does not work properly after windows update automatically installed. The desktop tool bar at the bottom disappear, can not update resolution, Google drive not working etc. After I get into recovery mode to uninstalled the quality update, it becomes normal again, but once it installs the updates automatically, the problem comes again. I pause the automatic update but it still do the update itself, please advise how I can get rid of this issue. Thanks.

Hello,
I have not received the message from you yet. If there is anything more that I can do for you or if anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Hello,
There is a known bug in the latest version of Windows 11. Please try checking whether the issue also appears in safe mode.
To do so, right-click Start->Terminal (Admin), and enter the following command:
shutdown /r /o /f /t 0
The computer should reboot to a "Choose an option" screen. Select Troubleshoot->Advanced options->Startup settings, select Restart, and when the computer boots again, select "5" for safe mode with networking.
Also, I have noticed that the update it tried to install is not the latest one. You can try performing an in-place upgrade, which should update the system to the latest version and replace system files with the one on the installation disk. See whether the issue persists.
To do so, please download and run the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool. Follow the instructions, and when selecting the media type, please select "ISO file". Once the media is created, please double-click the ISO file (if you have third-party programs that open ISO files, please right-click the ISO file and open it with the file explorer). Go to "This PC" and open the new drive, and run "setup.exe". Follow the instructions, and when selecting what data to keep, select "Keep personal files and apps".
Please refer to the "Reinstall Windows 11 using installation media" section of this support article for further details.
Disclaimer: Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so.
Hi Johann, please see below. The display resolution menu in setting is blank even after I did the recovery. Thanks.
