    The system file checker did nothing for me... Did that... The only thing that worked was uninstalling this update. If you have doubt look up the update number and you will find various forums of people having issues with this update KB5036893. Again I will reiterate this update is NOT ready and Microsoft needs to release a fix.

    It still fails on my end. I have not been able to successfully install a Windows update in months.

    This latest update has ruined my brand new computer!! I am now having issues, that I've Never had before, including restarting on it's own for no reason At All, and recently a blue screen!!

    I had issues with this update. Wasted my whole day trying to fix my PC. Finally found a way to uninstall the update in advanced options at boot up. Lost my taskbar, couldn't search, couldn't access PC Settings, couldn't open Firefox. Update basically broke my PC. Thankful I was able to uninstall it and revert back. BEWARE!!!

    Thanks for the help

    it was a program I had used and forgotten I installed

    I found my way into the file explorer and found the program disabled it and got my desktop back
