This has to be the most ANOYING update applied for me. I am vision impaired so i use Logotech G413 Specifically because of its Bright solid WHITE lighting for my eyesight. But since Dynamic feature its brightness ability is half the power at MAX. so it is incredibly dull just like al the cheap unclear keyboards now. I have Tried Turning off Dynamic lighting but it switches the keyboard of entirely and no way of getting the keyboard to turn on under its own settings. Is there away to uninstall this useless feature? or an checkability option to USE real full brightness ability?. I need this solved Fast so i can continue with my work comfortably

Dynamic lighting sucks. why did Microsoft even bother with this absolute nonsense?

Bottom line here is Dynamic lighting is absolute trash. It was a major waste on the part of Microsoft. Get Signal RGB for an all-around great experience.

    Hi,

I have the same problem with my Logitech G413, the red backlight was dull after this update. I fixed it by changing the effect to single color and changing the color to a bright one (even if my keyboard only support red). A gray was selected causing the keyboard to be barely lighted. A Yellow color works for me as well as a custom white.

I hope this can help you.

This was the workaround I needed! When my keyboard's backlight looked completely OFF, it didn't occur to me that a KB with a built-in single-color backlight might just be rendering extremely dimly if Windows is trying to control its RGB value...

I set the custom color to White/#FFFFFF, and my G413 default red backlighting sprung back to life. If Windows can't detect whether a lighted peripheral has full RGB support, it shouldn't be setting the default value to anything less than full-luminance. I didn't even know Windows had added this Dynamic Lighting control panel to take control of peripheral lighting, and now I've already had to fiddle with a bunch of its settings to work around the bugs it introduced!

Note - Setting "Use Dynamic Lighting on my devices" OFF for my keyboard did not help at all. Only when I left it on, but set the Custom Color to something much brighter, e.g. White, did the backlighting show it was actually still working. Thanks for the tip.

Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

I'm glad to help you today!

I understand you need help with regarding the Dynamic Lighting feature in Windows 11.

Do you have the Logitech's G Hub installed into your PC? If not yet, kindly install it and try adjusting the brightness settings from there.

You can download the Logitech G Hub from their website:

    https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/innovation/g-hu...

If in any case that you're already using the Logitech G Hub, kindly try setting it as the highest priority in the Dynamic Lighting settings:

    1. Open Settings > Go to Personalization > Go to Dynamic Lighting
    2. Click on Background light control, then see if you'll see something with "Logitech" in it and drag it up top of the list.
