Hi Roman Melnyk2,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
A complete driver is a prerequisite for more customized configurations.
More generally, this limitation is not limited to mice alone, but is a basic pattern that most hardware needs to follow.
For example, monitors require dedicated monitor drivers and monitor firmware to achieve certain combinations of special On-Screen Display parameters or to implement screen touch functionality.
Certain basic properties may be hard-coded into the hardware and are basic components of the hardware, and may only require some common standard-compliant drivers to adjust them.
However, if additional configurations or effects are required, they are dependent on the manufacturer's customized drivers.
For example, there are two types of drivers related to graphics cards: Microsoft basic display adapters and vendor-customized drivers.
You may still need to contact your IT administrator to assist you in installing the full drivers.
If I misunderstand your situation, feel free to correct me and share the information.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation.
Best Regards,
