Hi there. My windows key does not like to work anymore for opening up the menu. I can however use shortcuts such as win+r. The only way to fix this is by restarting my pc. Is there a way to fix this or should I reinstall windows and keep all my files using the installation media tool? And if I do, will I keep ALL of my files? I really would just want to reinstall windows.

Mine was golden on Restart Explorer, SFC, DISM and reboot. I'm a 35 year Win user and have never had this happen before. I use the Win key often enough, at least once a day, so this was a verrrry odd one. And a simple fix. But I wish I knew what messed it up. I have no other issues with anything. Thanks for the clues!

Well this has been a problem since last year. Removing the latest software wouldn't fix anything
Unfortunately none of these fixed the issue. There were a couple corrupted files but even after restarting, things weren't fixed after SFC and DISM.
