I can't press a button on my keyboard more than one time in a row.

I know this likely sounds confusing, but if I try to backspace twice, I can't. If i try to press the letter 'c' multiple times in a row, it stops me after the first 'c'.

Similarly, I can't do two spaces in a row without pressing another button first. This just started today.

Why is this happening, and is there a way to fix it?

Turning off the "Filter Keys" should fix this problem.

1-Click on Star then click on Settings

2-Click on "Ease of Access"

3-Click on "Keyboard"

4-Turn off the option "Use filter keys" and uncheck the option "Allow the shortcut key to start Filter Keys"

5-Then you should be able to use your keyboard normally

I'm sorry for the typo. You need to click on the Start button (Windows logo button) in the bottom left corner.

Had this same problem and now it's all good.

I just needed to put filter keys into my settings search bar. I just didn't know filter keys was my problem
