Cursor goes off Roblox.

When playing a first person game on Roblox I often find my cursor going to the top of my screen (where the minimize and close buttons are) which stops the game from moving completely so I have resorted to pressing the Esc to reset my mouse to the center of the screen which helps but when play a first person game where I have to frequently look up and down it is hard to play. This issue also happens on the lower part of the screen (the task bar) although my game will still move. This is still a problem though because if I were to click it could open up an app unexpectedly. Not to mention some games wont allow for my controls (for example a Dusty Trip doesn't let me open doors when clicking). And also, some games will have the mobile buttons even when I'm playing on PC.

it only solves the problem of the cursor going out of the game with f11, but if I play in third person and move the view while holding down the right mouse button the cursor stays where I pressed it but then if I let go it moves quickly and it is difficult to understand where the cursor has ended up and If I place the cursor on the top or down will appears the application bar. I have windows 10 pro

I have had the same for like two years amd went over every single setting that exists and and every single part of the computer but it didn't help. I've ask so many people and googled so much times but still no result. One day I thought "maybe this would work" and I was shocked that it did. It was very surprisingly actually. You are probobly playing through the game itself on pc what ypu should do is download it through the browser and play THROUGH the browser and go full screen (f11 [+fn?]) And that should resolve the issue. Hope this helps God bless❤️

Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

To address the Roblox cursor going off-screen, especially in first-person mode, follow these steps:

    1. Adjust Display Settings

    • Right-click on your desktop and select Display Settings.
    • Ensure that the Scale and Layout options are set to their recommended values. This includes both the scale and display resolution settings.

    2. Troubleshoot Microsoft Store Apps

    • Open Windows Settings and navigate to System > Troubleshoot.
    • Select Other troubleshooters and run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter. This will check for issues related to the Microsoft Store version of Roblox and suggest fixes.

    3. Reset Roblox

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
    • Find Roblox, click on the burger menu (three dots), and select Advanced options.
    • Scroll down and click on Reset. This will clear the application cache and reset the app as if it was newly installed from the Microsoft Store].

    4. Update Graphics Drivers

    • Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause cursor issues in games.

    5. Reset Windows Store Cache

    • Press Windows Key + R, type wsreset.exe, and press Enter. This will reset the Windows Store cache, which might resolve the issue.

    6. Check for System Updates

    • Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, system updates can fix underlying issues that cause cursor problems.

    7. Try Running the Game in Fullscreen Mode

    • Press F11 when in-game to run the game in fullscreen mode.

Please do let me know if the method I suggested works for you or if you need further assistance.

So, I might be able to help out with a simple thing, I'm not sure if you're still looking for an answer.

What I found out is that I was using the Roblox app from the windows store, and for some reason it always did that, with the cursor going to the other screen and accidentally clicking other programs and messing up the gameplay. Sadly I didnt see a fix for the app in windows.

The solution I found is basically uninstalling the game, and downloading the actual Roblox game off the website. It worked like a charm for me, I'm pretty sure its the same with any other pc but you press Shift to toggle the mouse moving it around, and press it again to move your camera around.

If for some reason you have the game off the website maybe just uninstalling it and installing it might work? Hope it helps.
