2024-05-06T08:19:15+00:00 Hi Nic.
Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.
In your description, you are now experiencing the osd lockup displaying when you start your computer and at the same time it will require you to use the menu button. First of all, please don't panic and relax, even though you have reassembled your computer before, this is not a problem with your computer and it has nothing to do with the location of the wires, as this is a problem with the monitor, osd means On-Screen Display, and you will need to operate the monitor accordingly to return to a normal state.
Let's take the AOC monitor as an example, generally speaking, then you can unlock the osd by long-pressing the osd button
If you can't use the osd button, you can go to the menu page, find the “Lock” or “Unlock” option, and follow the prompts to set it to “Unlock” status.
Since this is not a Windows problem, if you need more targeted help, we recommend that you contact your monitor manufacturer's support staff, who will provide you with more professional help.
I hope the above helps, if you have any other questions please continue to contact me, thank you for your support and understanding.
