Thank you for the screenshot, your laptop model has a maximum RAM specification of 16GB (2 x 8GB)
How can I find maximum amount of ram supported by my laptop
I have an Acer Aspire-7 laptop with 8 GB ram with 2 slots(only one slot occupied)
I want add more ram to the laptop
When I run command "wmic memphysical get maxcapacity, memorydevices "
I got the results as follows
MaxCapacity MemoryDevices
8388608 2
It's saying that that max capacity is 8GB. Is it saying about the current maximum capacity or is that the maximum the device can support computer or is it talking about max ram per slot
Which of the following configurations of ram is possible
Slot 1 Slot2
8 0 (Current RAM)
8 8
8 16
Which one of this is possible
Windows for home | Windows 11 | Devices and drivers

That command is known not to produce correct results sometimes, I will find the Maximum RAM capacity for you, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.
