What really is KMS windows activation and how to disable/uninstall it

I bought my computer a few months ago, last week a message started showing up as soon as I turn it on telling me that "the license will expire soon". I found out that Windows is activated as KMSCLIENT instead of RETAIL. Spent this last week looking for answers, but nothing came up. I also bought a Windows 11 Home license, but the product key doesn't work (error: 0xc004f050) please help

    Im on Windows 11 Pro now and I bought the Windows 11 Home license on a website called Kabum, one of the major computer/gaming webstores where I live,

    Depending on the screenshot, your Windows is activated with a volume license.

    If your computer is not part of any network or domain, I am afraid that your Windows activation license is not valid for home users. This is because the volume license is only used by big organizations and companies and will expire after some time, it is not permanent like the Home and Pro license which does not have an expiration date.

    Therefore, it is best to contact the vendor or person who installed Windows to activate it with a genuine license key.

    Regarding the Home License, I have checked the mentioned website but I could not verify if they sell cheap and illegal licenses because of the currency used on that website, but it is always recommended to purchase Windows licenses only from the Microsoft official website.

    However, you can verify your license with the ShowKeyPlus app:

    Put the key and check its details but do not share it here.

    If you see it is a genuine license key, you must perform a clean install of Windows Home and then activate it because you can not activate the Windows Pro edition with a Home license.

    KMS, Key Management Service is a service on a Windows Server that allows client computers to activate Windows without user intervention automatically. It is usually used in companies and organizations that have many Windows-based computers.

    To verify if your computer is activated with KMS, kindly click on Start > Run CMD and type the following command then hit enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

    A dialogue box should appear > Take a screenshot and post it back.

    Regarding your Windows Home license key issue, you might see this error because you entered a product key that can't be used to activate Windows.

    May I know where you got that license key? Is your Windows Edition Home?
