Hello,
I migrated Exchange 2010 Edge mail flow to 3rd party anti-spam.
Now I need to decomission Exchange 2010 Edge.
Is this correct procedure
https://tekbloq.com/2018/02/12/decommissioning-exchange-2013-edge-server/
or do I need to also remove edge subscription from mailbox server and than uninstall edge?
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/architecture/edge-transport-servers/edge-subscription-procedures?view=exchserver-2019
Any advice?
Thank you

    Remove the Edge Subscription, then uninstall the Edge Role from that server.

    @Andy

    Agree with AndyDavid, from the article that AndyDavid provided, here is a comparison between removing Edge Subscription from the Exchange organization and Edge Transport server:

    If you don't want to use this Edge server again, remove from the Exchange organization is correct one.
