See the question! If there is a built-in compression system, how do I navigate to it?

No there isnt, niether is there one in MS Office

Assuming the question is about a way to compress one or more files into a zip container, there is one in Windows File Explorer.

Right-click the selected file(s) and choose Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder.

The word "folder" there is a bit of a misnomer -- it's a single file that contains the compressed version of the original file(s).

To extract the compressed file(s) from the zip container, just double-click the zip file. File Explorer treats it as a folder but also shows an "Extract" ribbon where you can choose where to put the extracted file.

There are at least a half dozen other compression schemes other than zip, which is the only one offered by Windows. If you need one of them, I recommend the free open-source program 7-Zip.
