I am getting the following error in event viewer every time my PC boots up. I am not sure it's related but my PC will also freeze up on all applications occasionally when starting up applications.

"The WinRing0_1_2_0 service failed to start due to the following error:

The system cannot find the path specified."

Here is the FRST.txt file:

I have seen various other posts about this issue but it seems like it is a custom solution for each person.

    Hi Jacob,

The links ask me to sign-in to Google. Please share the logs for public access.

By the way, to delete the orphaned WinRing0_1_2_0 service, open admin Command Prompt and run:

    • sc.exe delete WinRing0_1_2_0

    Press Enter.

This has fixed the error I was receiving in the Event Viewer. Please let me know if anything in the FRST.txt or Additional.txt files are of any concern. If they are not then I will mark this as answered.

The system is clean. So, no fixlist is required.

You may delete the cpuz154 service, which is unwanted. To do so, run:

    • sc.exe delete cpuz154

As a general precaution, open Defender and check for unknown exclusions. If there are any, clear them manually.

Sorry about that, here are the updated links:

    FRST.txt: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cVtbH6d72euUThXm0Hs_yNE7G-d52fos/view?usp=sharing

    Additional.txt:

I have ran the command in CMD and it deleted successfully. I will see if that got rid of the event viewer error.
