how do i print from a pc through another pc connected to an hp laser printer using wi-fi? I am using MS Windows 10 with Office 2010. I have had this working with a cable connection between computers for years, but now I can't use a cable after we moved. I need to use a wi-fi network to send print messages from pc 1 to pc 2 which is connected via cable to a laser printer. unfortunately my laser printer doesn't support wi-fi, so I have to send print messages through pc2 to the printer from pc1.

When you set up the printer on the one it is attached to, did you set it up to be a network printer?
My HP printer has the ability to print from the Internet or a local area network. Is yours set up to do that?
unfortunately me HP M1212 nf does not support wi-fi so it's connected via cable to the second computer
Are the computers networked?
Are they connected via cable or wifi? The computers need to be connected in some fashion.
You asked about wifi and that should work.
On the computer where it is installed, is it installed to be accessible by other devices on the network?

I am moving this to the Windows forum because it is much more a Windows problem than a Word problem. Once Windows recognizes the Printer and you have a printer driver it should show up in Word. I guessed Windows 10, but if that is mistaken, please edit the original question to show your operating system.
