Same thing happened in safemode and in bios
Horizontal lines covering monitor screen
Hi all, I was using my PC when spontaneously thin blacked out horizontal lines appeared covering my entire monitor screen. Also when I touch my cursor to the bottom of my monitor screen the white from it covers the entire height of the monitor fading slightly by the time it reaches the top. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the monitor itself or maybe the graphics card or if there’s a fix for it Help would be very much appreciated

I'm Christine, an Independent Advisor. I'll be happy to assist you. Looks like you're seeing lines on your monitor. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.
May I know when did the issue start? Is there any changes made before you got this issue?
Please send the make and model of your device. (Please press Windows key + R and type msinfo32 and hit enter, look for system model)
Have you checked the Display cable if it's properly plugged in?
Kindly check and follow the steps below:
- Please check and make sure that the Display cable is properly plugged in. If you have other cable to use, please try to replace and see if it will fix the issue.
- Update or Reinstall the Display driver
Please press the Windows key + X
Then click Device manager
Kindly expand the Display Adapters
Right click and choose "Update Driver"
Select "Search automatically for drivers"
If the issue persists Choose "Browse my computer for driver" instead
and click " Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
Choose the older version.
Please restart and check if the issue persists.
Please let me know the result. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.
