How do I fix the unhandled exception for several applications.

I don't know it keeps on happening, but there are some applications that I attempted to run, but those apps keep giving me unhandled exceptions. Whenever I tried to open NOTIFICATION SETTINGS, it gives me "unhandled exception for SystemSetting.exe". Another example is when I plugged in my headphone jacks, the computer detects it and show the "Realtek Audio Console". However, whenever I plugged in my headphone jack, the app also leaves an exception too, so I had no choice but to uninstall the audio console in order to use my headphone. One time I always get a random exception for "sihost.exe" which when I "cancel" the exception, the Explorer.exe just simply stopped working. I tried to research for info on why this is happening, but the solution didn't seem to work. If you need more details, I can send you.

    Hello Erik,

Thank you for providing methods to fix my problem, but I'd like to clarify:

    1. I'm on the latest Window 11, so no new updates to be found meaning I have already updated the system.
    2. There are no current threat to be found while scanning for virus.
    3. All drivers have been updated.
    4. When I tried to run "the compatibility troubleshooter", I didn't fully ran it, but rather I went to check if the application is still giving exception. Somehow the applications went back to normal.

So applications aren't really a problem, just that I couldn't access the notification settings. When I tried to click on the setting to adjust my notifs, it gives me an 0xc0000005, for SystemSetting.exe. While the error occured, I couldn't access the action center, and I couldn't find the SystemSetting.exe to troubleshoot, but thank you for the suggestion. I would probably conclude that the "compatibility troubleshoot" kinda work. You can see according the picture below that I tried to click on the settings, and then an unhandled exception occured.

    Hi Rattanak Hong,

Thank you for providing your system specifications. Based on the information you have provided, it seems that your system is experiencing some issues with its software. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the unhandled exception errors:

    1. Update your Windows 11 operating system to the latest version. This can be done by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking on "Check for updates". Installing the latest updates can help fix any bugs or issues that may be causing the unhandled exceptions.
    2. Run a virus scan on your system using Windows Security. This can be done by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security and clicking on "Virus & threat protection". Click on "Scan options" and select "Full scan". This will scan your entire system for any viruses or malware that may be causing the unhandled exceptions.
    3. Check for any driver updates for your system. This can be done by going to Device Manager and checking for any yellow exclamation marks next to any of your devices. Right-click on the device and select "Update driver". You can also go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for your system.
    4. Try running the applications in compatibility mode. Right-click on the application and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab and select "Run compatibility troubleshooter". This will help identify any compatibility issues and suggest solutions.

    Ok update:

I checked the service for "Window Push Notification System Center" and it seems like it's disabled. Same goes for "Window Push Notification User Service _2232c2". I have a feeling I might have disabled something in the regedit, but have no idea where the notifications editor is located at. I tried to start the service, but it gives a "parameter is incorrect" error.
