Product Key Error

Product Key Error

I have a CD for Microsoft Office 2013. It has previously worked for several years on an old laptop. I switched to a new laptop and want to activate Office on that laptop but it will not recognize the Product Key.

I get: Error: PIN-INAPP-INVALIDPIN-8

Despite the ample suggestions, I have come up empty resolving.

We are a RADIOCOM DRC service provider company.
We sell computers that go with Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2029 licenses.
We are in but with the problem of the licenses and all those that we open in packaging we display the error code Error code: PIN-IN APP-INVALID PIN-8, already we have a very large number of unusable keys.

Error code: PIN-INAPP-INVALIDPIN-8
If you entered your key and it failed, your key may have been affected by this issue. Please enter the same key again to complete activation.

Hi @JPL ,

Welcome to Q&A forum ~

Could you please tell which version of Office 2013 are you using now?
Such as volume licensed Office Professional Plus 2013 (or Office Standard 2013), retail Office 2013 Home&Student.

For volume licensed versions, if you are using a MAK key, I would suggst you contact Microsoft directly to seek help, make sure this MAK key is effective.
For retail verisons, you do not need this key, but you need to find back the Microsoft account that assoicated to this key. Then log into Subscriptions & Services page to download Office to install.
