UHD 770 Not Coming out of Monitor Standby

Win11 with all updates, motherboard is an MSI Z790-A which has an Intel UHD 770.  Dual 4k Dell Monitors hooked up, 1 via HDMI and 1 via DP.  Everything worked find with monitors going into and out of standby mode until a couple months ago.  I've tried installing the latest Intel UHD 770 drivers from the website while check marking clean install.  I've also tried using whatever Windows 11 has for its drivers, which is a version back in Jan 2024. Nothing has worked, monitors go into standby, but clicking/moving the mouse does not bring them back out of standby.  If I remove the HDMI cable and plug it back in, one monitor comes back. Then I have to power off and on the 2nd monitor for it to come back.

I am having the exact same issue with the UHD 770.

I have a main monitor connected to my Nvidia RTX 4090, and a secondary monitor to my Intel UHD 770.

When both monitors go to sleep then attempts to wake up, the secondary monitor connected to the Intel UHD 770 won't wake up at all. The main monitor connected to the RTX 4090 will wake up and be active for 3 seconds, goes blank for 1 second, then wakes up again for 3 seconds, and it does indefinitely until I power off and on the secondary monitor connected to the UHD770 to bring it back.

Once the secondary monitor is back up and running, then blanking pattern on the main monitor stops and the computer functions normal again.

I had the same problem. I'm on an Asus Z690 board with an I-9 12900K. I updated my UHD 770 driver to the latest version (.5445) and started having an issue where the monitor connected to the UHD 770 won't wake up. The other monitors connected to my 3090 will be turning on and off until I power off the monitor connected to the UHD 770. I rolled back to the latest driver on the ASUS website (.4824) and the issue went away.

The outdated version of the Bios could be the cause of the problem. There are some Bios updates on the MSI website to "Improve system stability, compatibility, and performance". Downloading and installing the latest version of the Bios (

7E07vA9) from this link should fix the problem.

    https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z790-A-WIFI...

Then you can use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant from this link to make sure you are using the latest version of the Chipset driver.

Some new info. Reinstalled the latest Intel drivers from the Intel automated support website. After the first reboot, monitors went to standby and came out when I moved the mouse. After reboot number 2, issue is back where the monitors do not come out of standby.
