Hello,

My JBL Tune Beam headphones are not showing up as an option to be paired with via Bluetooth for Windows 11 laptop. Never had any issues with connecting other headphones. JBL's support says this is a Windows issue as these are able to connect to my phone and other devices. Please help.

Good day, Matthew. Thank you for letting me know.

I agree, and I have also experienced similar issues with my JBL model. However, as I mentioned earlier, it is not entirely a Windows issue. JBL models require the A2DP and AVRCP profiles to properly transmit audio. You can contact your PC manufacturer's support to verify if they support the required drivers for JBL headphones to work properly. If you have already installed the necessary drivers and the issue persists, please let JBL know about the issue.

Hi Matthew, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand your frustration, you're not alone. Thank you for letting me know that you have tried other headphones and did not experience a similar issue to what you're facing with your JBL headphones.

It is important to clarify that it isn’t entirely a Windows issue, but rather a specific concern with many JBL models. In fact, JBL has acknowledged that this is a widespread issue and has published a fix recommending an update of specific drivers applicable to most of their models. Here is the link: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/howto/pairing-iss...

If you have followed their suggestions and the issue persists, please let them know and consider asking for a return, if necessary.

Should you need further information please let me know.

    John J.D.

I have used JLab headphones in the past and they no longer connect to the laptop via bluetooth. This is most likely not an issue on the JBL side.
