Issue with 'Graphic driver requires further installation', please help!
I have two graphic drivers, one from Intel and one from Nvidia, and both of them show this error code below 'Events' and 'Information' when I look at them in Device Manager:
Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E9B&SUBSYS_1B3E1043&REV_00\3&11583659&0&10 requires further installation.
It also says, under 'Events': 'Device not started (igfx)' for my Intel graphics driver.
I believe these issues are causing my task-bar to disappear as well as apps crashing, how do I fix them?
Full event information of 'Device not started' for intel driver:
Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E9B&SUBSYS_1B3E1043&REV_00\3&11583659&0&10 had a problem starting.

Did you go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website to download and re-install the version of Intel HD graphics drivers they provide and also go to the Nvidia website to re-install the version of Nvidia drivers they provide for your graphics card model?

2024-05-23T07:14:14+00:00 I've tried, yes. With my Nvidia driver, I tried both the most recent driver from Nvidia and the most recent driver from my laptop's manufacturer (ASUS) and both of them still said 'requires further installation' after I was done.
As for my intel driver, I encountered a new issue where I couldn't install the new intel graphics driver from ASUS, when I tried to open the install command prompt, it'd immediately close and say 'access denied' even when I ran it as an administrator.
