2024-05-21T21:32:57+00:00 You went on a wild goose chase.
The top 2 items (the red in MY screenshot) are ALWAYS going to say no drivers files. The bottom 2 items (the green in MY screenshot) are the actual drivers.
"High Definition Audio Device" means that you didn't install your Realtek audio driver from MSI. Install the MSI realtek audio driver with the installer (often called setup.exe) . If you have problems installing it, cut the internet access before you install it. Then run Microsoft Store to download the realtek audio console app.
Since your motherboard website said realtek audio driver and your device manager said c-media --- you have to tell that to MSI support. They may have given you the wrong audio driver.

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.
Thank you for the detailed screenshots and information. In computer hardware, Realtek audio chips are usually integrated on the motherboard and connected to other components via a PCIe interface. Due to this integrated nature, Realtek audio chips usually do not require additional drivers, so when updating drivers you may be prompted that no drivers are loaded for the device. If you find this prompt not user-friendly, I have found the corresponding Enhanced Audio driver based on your MS-7B84 B450M PRO-M2 MAX motherboard model number, which usually overrides the current driver, and I provide you with the download link here:
