Hi, My name is Ahmet, and I am an Independent Advisor. I hope you're well, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Upgrading the Microsoft Photos app in Windows 10 22H2 can be done through the Microsoft Store. Follow these steps to ensure you have the latest version:

    Open Microsoft Store:

Click on the Start button and type "Microsoft Store" in the search bar.

Select Microsoft Store from the search results to open it.

    Check for Updates:

In the Microsoft Store, click on the Library icon at the bottom-left corner (it looks like a stack of books or an open book).

Click on the Get updates button at the top-right corner of the Library page.

    Update Microsoft Photos:

The Store will now check for updates for all your installed apps. If an update for Microsoft Photos is available, it will appear in the list of updates.

Click the Update button next to Microsoft Photos, or click Update all to update all apps.

Wait for the Update to Complete:

The app will download and install the latest update. This may take a few minutes depending on your internet speed and the size of the update.

    Verify the Update:

Once the update is complete, you can open the Microsoft Photos app to ensure it has been updated to the latest version.

If you encounter any issues during the update process, here are a few troubleshooting steps:

Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve update issues.

Check Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection.

Sign In to Microsoft Store: Make sure you are signed in with your Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store.

Reset Microsoft Store: If the store is not working correctly, you can reset it. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find Microsoft Store, select Advanced options, and then click Reset.

By following these steps, you should be able to upgrade the Microsoft Photos app to the latest version available for Windows 10 22H2.

Let me know how it goes and hopefully it will help.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Yours sincerely,

    Ahmet

    Hi AHMET YAYLAGUL,

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm looking for a solution as an SCCM/Intune admin to distribute/install ms photos app on end user's devices.

most of the assets have already installed it - some of them missing or need to install newly.

    Kind Regards,

    Sagarreddy Allam.

    Greetings,

In this case, if you go to your company with a request, I don't think your company will have a problem with loading, have you tried this or asked?

I hope I have made myself clear.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Yours sincerely,

    Ahmet
