Hi,
I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.
You have to look for the enhancements and equalizer on the Realtek Audio Control / Console application, there you can find the settings you are looking for.

Windows 11 Sound Panel Realtek sound effect enhancement function disappears (Realtek sound effect version: 6.0.9635.1). I have tried updating with the device administrator and re-downloading Windows, but it has no effect.
Using the Intel web page (Realtek* high-fidelity audio driver for Windows 10, and Windows® 11* for Intel® NUC 9 Extreme Laptop Kit) file to download the Realtek audio driver will fail with error code:-0001. (https://www.intel.com.tw/content/www/tw/zh/download/19645/realtek-high-definition-audio-driver-for-windows-10-windows-11-for-intel-nuc -9-extreme-laptop-kits.html)
There is no Realtek sound enhancement function panel when using the computer supplier's web page to download the driver (https://www.gigabyte.com/tw/Laptop/G5--Intel-11th-Gen/support#support-dl-driver)
I have checked on the Internet that it is possible to use the device administrator update method to change back to High definition audio. The enhancement panel will appear, but the function does not have an equalizer, so the method to change back to High definition audio is excluded.

Hi,
I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.
You have to look for the enhancements and equalizer on the Realtek Audio Control / Console application, there you can find the settings you are looking for.
The image is just an example:
As Joseph stated, you must install the right Realtek audio driver for your device and change the enhancements on the Realtek application. This is the right place to change these settings.
When I first installed the driver, all the fully functional ones included Realtek's Enhancement Tab (note that it is not the Enhancement Tab of high definition audio device. The high definition audio device version is not fully functional, such as equalizer, Pitch Shift, Voice Cancellation, etc. No), I have tried to use the Realtek Audio Control you mentioned. Although the functions are displayed, it does not work when I try to use it. For example, when I adjust the equalizer/environment, I have already made the adjustment, but it does not work. The lack of change is very frustrating.
Going back to the previous point, a very important point is that the answer I want to find is that the Enhancement Tab is missing in the control panel. Before this, I had not used the Realtek Audio Control / Console application or even opened it. All operations were in speakers/headphones. Properties, because there is Enhancement Tab in speakers/headphones properties, I don’t need to open other programs to operate it.
I made sure that when I installed the realtek audio driver, I used the Intel web page (Realtek* High Definition Audio Driver for Windows 10 and Windows® 11* for Intel® NUC 9 Extreme Notebook Kit) to download the Realtek audio driver file. , but I don’t know why when I downloaded it again after uninstalling, it failed and the error code was displayed: -0001. When the download failed, I tried to install the Realtek audio driver from Gigabyte, but after the download was completed, I opened the control panel and found that Enhancement The tab disappeared directly and I fell into an infinite loop...
❗The picture is taken from the Internet for your reference. From the beginning, my panel is as fully functional as the picture.
Please help me think about what went wrong😢Thank you very much!!
I forgot to mention in the article that I originally had the Enhancement Tab in my control panel. When I wanted to update it to a new version yesterday, the installation program directed me to uninstall the old Realtek version first, but when I followed the program guide to uninstall it After installation, I restarted my computer and when I installed the new version, Error Code: -0001 failed to install, which was so frustrating. When I installed the old version back, the entire Enhancement Tab disappeared and I couldn’t find it back, so I was very worried. OK to write in the request (Realtek sound enhancement feature disappears in Windows 11 sound panel). As for the part where you mentioned dts, I have not downloaded this software on my computer. As for other EQ apps, I have also tried Fxsound, but the effect is not as expected, so I still look forward to getting the Enhancement Tab....😢
I hope the information I mentioned can help you better understand my situation and provide help. Thank you very much!
Intel's realtek audio driver is for Intel branded NUC computers only. It is NOT for random branded computers that just happens to have Intel CPU inside.

Install your gigabyte realtek audio driver --- must use the installer (often called setup.exe). Then run Microsoft store, it will download the Realtek audio console app and the DTS audio app for you.
Since your laptop comes with DTS, it will likely mean that the Realtek audio console will not have the 10 band EQ. The EQ willl be moved to the DTS app. This is the simplest rule to understand --- they can't give you 2 separate EQ because end-users will accidentally enable both EQ's and ruin their sound. So the end result is that the EQ in the realtek audio console is deleted.
If your DTS app doesn't have EQ, then complain to Gigabyte. Nothing to do with with Windows OS or Realtek --- this is the correct behaviour for the "there can be only one" rule.
If that is the case, then TOUGH LUCK. If you want an EQ, then download an EQ app like Equalizer APO.
