Does hardware beep codes propagate to windows and output via speakers? I am getting beep from the speakers.
Windows 11 - Constant beeping noise every couple of seconds
This issue started recently, I had an issue with graphics card, after trail and error I found that changing it to PCIe 16x to 8x and changing output from DP to HDMI resolved the issue for the time being. But after the windows boot I am getting constant beep on the speaker every 2 seconds. Any help would be appreciated.
I followed steps mentioned here,
and found that sound "Device Disconnect"

Can you use this instruction to perform a clean boot:

And then observe it to see if the beeps continue in clean boot. Please keep me posted.

I have used both bluetooth headphones and speaker built into monitor connected via HDMI.
I am not sure what exactly was the issue with the GPU, but the issue was the monitor output was totally not working or getting really bad artifacts if it shows up. So I cleaned up my PC and moved GPU to 8x slot used DP cable instead of HDMI and it started to show up.

If you mute the speakers, do you still hear the beep?

So what you got there is the hardware beep codes. Based on the pattern and pitch, etc it can indicate different meaning. It is not a Windows issue here. Some major brands usually would have their beep codes meaning listed on their official websites and you can see if you can find out what that means.. Or you can contact your computer's manufacturer support to find out what it means and go from there.
