Hi. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Are there any error messages or codes?

    1. Run the Network troubleshooter

Click the Start Menu > Settings > Network & Internet > Status.

Select Network Troubleshooter. Follow the on-screen procedure, and see if that fixes the problem.

    1. Type the Command prompt on your search bar and right-click the result, then run as administrator

copy and paste each command(one at a time) below and hit enter:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    Restart your PC then check

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you

Thanks for trying. Based on the errors, I'm afraid the issue is with the Ethernet port itself or the connection to it on your computer.

    1. Try restarting the Network Service

Press Windows + R, and type Services.msc then hit OK

Scroll down and look for Network Setup Service

Double-click it and change the startup type to Automatic and click "Start".

Go to the “Recovery” tab and Click the First Failure dropdown, then select Restart the Service.

    Click Apply then OK.

Restart your PC and then check.

    1. Try network reset

Click Start Menu > Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset > Select Reset now > Yes to confirm.

    1. Reinstall your Network driver

Press Windows + X and choose Device Manager.

    Expand the Network Adapters section

    Right-click on your Network driver.

    Click Uninstall.

Check the "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" box.

    Click Uninstall to confirm

Restart your computer and let Windows Reinstall your driver

    Check if the issue persists.

When I tried troubleshooting it gave me the message “An Ethernet cable is not properly plugged in or might be broken” so I tested my Ethernet on my Xbox and it works like it’s supposed too.

Also when I try the ip config commands it gives me the message “No operations can be preformed on Ethernet while it has its media disconnected. I have the Ethernet cable plug into the port on the pc.

Usually there’s supposed to be a yellow light that comes on in the Ethernet port on my pc when it’s plugged in and working but it’s not doing it anymore like the pc isn’t detecting the Ethernet connection.

    I appreciate the help.
