Error Code 0x80048820 EVERY time I try to login or use microsoft store

So every time I try and update games on microsoft store it gives me the error code 0x80048820, it also gives me this error whenever I try and edit my details in the windows settings. I've been trying to switch my computers default microsoft account after my old one was compromised. What am I supposed to do if I cannot use my old microsoft account or use my new one due to this bug?????

And for example if i want to play minecraft i have to buy it again?

Hi Anna,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

I am afraid there is no other way when your account is hacked, other than to create a new account and start over.

Click on the Start button and select Settings.

In the Settings window, click on Accounts.

Click on Family & other users.

Under Other users, click on Add someone else to this PC.

Select Microsoft account.

Enter the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account.

Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

To make the Microsoft account an administrator, click on the Start button and select Settings.

In the Settings window, click on Accounts.

Click on Family & other users.

Under Other users, click on the Microsoft account you just added.

Click on Change account type.

Select Administrator from the dropdown menu.

Click on OK.

You can move your data from the old account to the new one if necessary.
