I have a windows machine, that we bought with windows 10 pro, it worked for a week but with a couple of signs that the windows might be faulty, like does not want to click on control panel options and not clicking on something and then works again all of a sudden. But the point is now the machine does not want to log into windows, It loads the windows and take you to the screen where you type in your password and sign in, so usually you press enter to sign in, but when you click enter, it just goes back to the windows, it does not allow you to sign in, and its not looping like saying signing in, it just goes back, I have run the chkdsk, not bad sectors or any error, tried nfc /scannow. not problems is outlined, also tried bootrec fixboot, rebuildmbr, and rebuildbcd, but nothing works.

Hi Nursetec. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Have you installed any new software or made any recent changes to your system?

If you haven't tried it yet, I suggest starting your PC in Safe Mode, performing a System Restore, or PC Reset to see if it helps:

At the sign-in screen, press and hold Shift, then click Power and select Restart.

Next, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.

After restart, choose option 5 or press F5 for Safe Mode with networking.

Click Troubleshoot > Advanced Option > System Restore

Select a restore point before the issue.

    Windows Troubleshooting

Advanced > Reset This PC (Keep My Files)

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you

I got it to work by reverting the windows feature updates using a bootable USB drive, did that and the computer is running smoothly now. Will just keep an eye on it and try to enable the updates one by one to see which one broke the system.

    Thanks for the help.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have any restore points to undo the changes that may be causing the issue?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

We did install our basic programs that we use in the organization, and anti-virus and so on.

And I have tried booting into save mode, when I do, it starts loading the windows, with the windows Logo, and then everything goes black, and nothing happens from there on.

And I also have tried resetting the computer, and it starts the process and then gives an error that says could not reset computer, nothing has changed and takes me back to the recovery options.
