My brightness bar is not there, how can i resolve this issueA?
Windows 11 No brightness drop down
Hi!
I have a Windows 11 desktop and I’ve been trying to figure out how to get the screen more brighter. I’ve seen multiple tutorials but I don’t have a drop down arrow for my brightness option. I haven’t seen any tutorial on how to get my drop down arrow back or if it’s even available on my Dell desktop.

Are you saying if you go to SEttings > System > Display, you don't see the brightness adjustment slider?
If that's the case,
Go to Device Manager > Display Adapter, make sure nothing is disabled there. If so, right click to enable it.
If that still doesn't work, go to the computer's manufacturer website, lcoate the model of yours, download and install the display adapter driver.
If you need help finding driver, please type msinfo32.exe in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, then share a screenshot of the pop up please.

But, if you have HDR enabled, in the HDR settings there is a slider for "SDR brightness". Seems to work like the regular bar, so I don't know why they hid it in there.

If so, go to Settings > Personalization > Color, Next to choose your mode, choose light. See if that's what you meant?
