Step 1: Prepare the Installation Media
- Download the Media Creation Tool:
- Go to the official Microsoft website and download the Media Creation Tool for Windows 11.
- Create a Bootable USB Drive:
- Run the Media Creation Tool.
- Select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC".
- Choose the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit).
- Select "USB flash drive" and ensure you have a USB drive with at least 8GB of space.
- Follow the prompts to create the bootable USB drive.
Step 2: Install Windows 11 on the SSD
- Enter BIOS/UEFI:
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing a specific key (usually Del, F2, F10, or Esc) during the boot process.
- Change the boot order to prioritize booting from the USB drive.
- Boot from the USB Drive:
- Save the BIOS settings and restart your computer.
- Your computer should boot from the USB drive and start the Windows 11 installation process.
- Windows Setup:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set your language, time, and keyboard preferences.
- Click "Install now".
- Product Key:
- When prompted, enter your Windows 11 product key. If you don't have one, you can click "I don’t have a product key" and proceed. Windows 11 will activate later if your hardware has a digital license.
- Select Installation Type:
- Choose "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
- Select the SSD:
- You will see a list of drives and partitions. Please delete all partitions and then choose between partition 0 and partition 1. If you are unsure which partition corresponds to your SSD, kindly follow these steps:
- Open Command Prompt: During the Windows installation process, press
Shift + F10to open the Command Prompt. - Start DiskPart: Type
diskpartand press Enter to start the DiskPart utility. - List Disks: Type

select disk X(replace X with the disk number, e.g.,select disk 0) and press Enter. - Detail Disk: Type
detail diskand press Enter. This command will provide detailed information about the selected disk, including the manufacturer and model, which can help you identify whether it is an SSD or HDD. - Here is a summary of the commands you will use:

Post-Installation
- Update Drivers:
