Why will Minecraft Launcher not work when I download it fresh?

I recently got a new computer and completely set it up and went to download Spotify and iTunes from the Microsoft store and couldn't due to an error with the code 0xC0EA000A. I tried MSReset and MSreset -i and neither of them worked to resolve the issue until I was told to simply sign out of the store and sign back in. When I did so it seemed to work all of a sudden and so I moved on. Well, now no matter where I download the Minecraft Launcher, from the Microsoft Store or Minecraft.net, it will not open. I will go through the installation and show up as an app in the all apps screen and the recently added section of the Windows start menu, but does not create a .minecraft folder or any apparent Minecraft folders in Roaming, Program Files, or anywhere else. This is a very frustrating problem and I really don't want to reset my computer because I use it for EVERYTHING and it would be challenging to get everything back up and running. My laptop is still under warranty if that helps at all. Thank you.

Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Can you at least see the Minecraft Launcher in the list of installed apps in Windows Settings? If yes, try repairing or resetting the app and check if it helps. Click Start > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Scroll down and look for Minecraft Launcher > Click on the three-dot menu beside it and select Advanced options > click Repair. If that doesn't help, try resetting the app. Follow the same steps, click Reset under the Repair button. Restart your computer then try opening it again.

You could also try to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter. Go into Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters > Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter. Then, try to launch Minecraft Launcher as administrator and sign in again. Also, please make sure that Minecraft is up-to-date. Open Microsoft Store > click Library > click Get Updates. Let me know if this works. If not, please feel free to reply and I'll be happy to provide further assistance. Thank you.

    Best Regards!

    Jen :)

Hello Jen! I have searched for updates, repaired and reset the launcher, and attempted to see if I could run a troubleshooter on the store and found out there is not one where you told me to look. I have no idea why (besides that my store is that messed up). I feel like the problem is in the store because of 1) the problems I had previously that I shared in my first post and 2) when Minecraft is "installed" it does not create any program file on my computer which leads me to believe that there is nothing that gets downloaded except the program icon and what ever it needs to show up as an installed app. I guess I would liken it to opening a file thinking it had stuff in it, but soon finding out it is completely empty and that yes, the file is there but it holds nothing so you can click it all you want but nothing is going to happen. I hope that makes sense and anymore help would be appreciated.
