How do you set up Paint 3D to open when you right click on a photo and select "open with"?

I used to be able to open my photos app and right click -> "open with" -> and select "Paint 3D". Now Paint 3D is not showing up when I click "open with". How do I set up paint 3D to show up under "open with". I realize I could go into Paint 3D and open the photo there, but this is an extra step when I am already in my photos app.

Thanks ahead of time :)

You can try downloading the previous version and see if it works. I've provided the steps below:

    1. Make sure you uninstall Paint 3D first.
    2. Visit https://store.rg-adguard.net/
    3. Paste the URL https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nblggh5fv99 and generate the AppX download links
    4. Download and install the older Paint 3D version (try version 2310.24037.0) Download the one with .appxbundle

       5. Disable automatic app updates to prevent it from updating

Let me know if it helps.

The option to "open with Paint 3D" for photos in no longer there. I have had this problem ever since the Microsoft update last month. I was hoping the problem would be resolved with last night's update, because there have certainly been enough complaints over the past month to Microsoft to realize there was a software glitch from that update. No one wants to open up Paint 3D and insert photo, when you have to select the one photo from thousands of photos you have on file, when you used to be able to highlight the photo you are using and select "open with Paint 3D". If you open with regular Paint, you can select "edit with Paint 3D", but there's a Microsoft pop up, prompting you to look for the app in the store. Then it says you already have the app. It opens up Paint 3D, but your photo from regular Paint doesn't load. So you're back to square one. I use this app more than anything else when I edit photos. When is Microsoft going to fix this problem? It's been over a month now.
